There’s no question that when it comes to movies for kids, families are spoiled for choice. With all the great films on the horizon for 2024, the choice is only going to get harder.
The year starts strong with the re-release of “Soul” on January 12, 2024. Originally a streaming-only release during the pandemic, this beloved Pixar movie will finally get its due on the big screen for those who missed its theatrical experience.
Following closely on February 2, 2024, Netflix presents “Orion and the Dark.” Orion’s fears come to life in an unexpected adventure, penned by the talented Charlie Kaufman. On the same day, Paramount+ brings “The Tiger’s Apprentice,” featuring a star-studded voice cast, in a thrilling tale about a teenager’s unexpected destiny.
A delightful treat for younger audiences arrives on February 9, 2024, with “Peppa’s Cinema Party,” featuring new episodes and interactive segments. That same day, Disney/Pixar’s “Turning Red” offers another visual feast, exploring the humorous trials of a teenage girl who turns into a giant red panda.
February 12, 2024, sees the release of “Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin” on Apple TV+, a heartwarming Peanuts special focusing on Franklin and his journey to make new friends.
